American Crow

I believe among the birds of Alberta the Crow is the closest genetically to the Birds of Paradise. I'd never disparage a Crow. A lot of First Nations tell tales that at one time the Crow was the most beautiful bird with the most beautiful voice in all of creation and that it sacrificed this beauty so that all animals and man can have light.
